The Screw Unscrambler
Using helical screw rolls, the unscrambler singulates the logs while ensuring smooth and even ending of logs with the help of an integrated stop-end chain.
The Screw Feeder
This patented helical screw feeder aligns, singulates and accelerates the logs as they are loaded onto the receiving conveyor, achieving a gap of 12” or less between logs.
Design Specifications
- Single Feed Throughput: up to 35 logs per minute
- Dual Feed Throughput: up to 50 logs per minute
- Diameters: 4” to 32”
- Log lengths: 8’ to 20’
- Log species: Spruce, Fir, Pine, Southern Yellow Pine, Larch, Cedar and Hardwoods
These units also perform particularly well processing crooked long logs up to a length of 72’.
